America in the 19th century: You are a rancher and repeatedly herd your cattle from Texas to Kansas City, where you send them off by train. This earns you money and victory points. Needless to say, each time you arrive in Kansas City, you want to have your most valuable cattle in tow. However, the "Great Western Trail" not only requires that you keep your herd in good shape, but also that you wisely use the various buildings along the trail. Also, it might be a good idea to hire capable staff: cowboys to improve your herd, craftsmen to build your very own buildings, or engineers for the important railroad line.
If you cleverly manage your herd and navigate the opportunities and pitfalls of Great Western Trail, you surely will gain the most victory points and win the game.
The second edition of Great Western Trail includes solitaire rules, making for a player count of 1-4.

Remember the old days in the West? Well, the times they are a-changing’! From new solo opponent to incredible landscapes, you won't know where to start. And there is a new herd of cows for you to sell!Great Western Trail is the critically acclaimed game of cattle ranching by Alexander Pfister. Players attempt to wrangle their herd across the Midwest prairie and deliver it to Kansas City. But beware! Other cowboys are sharing the trail with you. We invite you to saddle up!
The changes in the Second edition:
- Brand New Artwork by Chris Quilliams
- Solo Mode: A New Challenger in the West
- Dual-Layered Player Boards
- Addition of a new breed of cows: The Simmental breed
- Two new reversible buildings (#11 & 12)
- Twelve Exchange Tokens, First introduced in the Rails of North Expansion, for more interaction with other players
- Four new Master Tiles added for more strategy, replayability, and challenges

To be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange, your item/s must be unused, in good condition and in the original packaging. Proof of purchase is required, preferably by providing your order acknowledgment or shipping confirmation email. You must be the original purchaser and account holder of the payment method.
Approved refunds will be submitted to your original payment provider within three working days of receiving the return item. You will receive confirmation via email and the credit will be automatically applied to your account. Some banks take time to process refund requests. If you haven’t received your refund within five working days, contact us and we will confirm if it has been submitted to your payment provider.
In the event that a refund is granted due to changing your mind, you no longer want the item, or you have taken more than the allotted time to return the item/s, you may be responsible for paying any credit card or Paypal fees the provider charges us. We can deduct this from the amount refunded to you. We may request you select a trackable shipping service and purchase insurance at your expense when returning items for these reasons.
For products missing components or damage within the factory-sealed packaging, we may request you contact the manufacturer. They will often cover your shipping costs and sometimes provide something extra to apologise for the inconvenience.
Items with prices that fluctuate based on supply, demand, tournament playability or ban lists may not be returned if any of these events have affected the item's price.

Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '

Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '

Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '
