Hurry! Only1units left in stock!Grim, dour, and fanatically devoted to the Imperium, the soldiers of the Death Korps of Krieg specialise in doing battle in the most horrific of conditions. They are known for their relentless, attritional style of warfare and possess a willingness to sacrifice millions of lives in pursuit of victory. Their conscripts are tested, selected, and relentlessly drilled almost from birth for their assigned role as Death Korps troopers.
This packed boxed set is ideal for starting a new Death Korps of Krieg collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000, and save money compared to buying the kits separately. This grinding army is led by a Command Squad, which includes a daunting Lord Commissar. The bulk of the force is composed of flexible Death Korps of Krieg infantry – enough to control the board. They are supported by a specialised unit of Krieg Combat Engineers and a pair of imposing Artillery Teams to rain death on your opponents.
This boxed set builds 35 multipart plastic Astra Militarum miniatures:
– 7x Krieg Command Squad miniatures
– 2x Artillery Teams
– 5x Krieg Combat Engineers, plus 1x Remote Mine token
– 20x Death Korps of Krieg troopers
The miniatures in this kit are easy to customise. The Lord Commissar from the Command Squad can be equipped with either a plasma pistol or a whip, and a powerfist or a sheathed power-sword and a pointing hand. One Veteran Guardsman in the unit may be assembled with either a laspistol, a bolt pistol, or a plasma pistol, and a chainsword, power weapon, or trench club. Another Veteran Guardsman can carry a boltgun, plasma gun, meltagun, or grenade launcher into battle, with two backpack accessory options of grenades, or grenade launcher ammo. The remaining Veteran Guardsmen carry the regimental standard, master vox, and alchemyk counteragents, respectively. There is also a range of optional cosmetic accessories, including shovels, to further decorate your miniatures.
The Artillery Teams can each be assembled as heavy mortars, siege cannons, heavy quad launchers, or multiple rocket launchers. There is also a range of cosmetic options and accessories for the crew.
The Krieg Combat Engineers can each be armed with a combat shotgun, or an autopistol and a trench club. Alternatively, one can be armed with a flamer, and one equipped with a remote mine controller. Finally, one can be built as a Watchmaster who can be armed with a bolt pistol, autopistol, plasma pistol, hand flamer, or combat shotgun, and a chainsword, power weapon, trench club, or grenade.
Up to two of the Death Korps of Krieg troopers can be built as Watchmasters – each armed with a plasma pistol, laspistol, or bolt pistol, and a chainsword or power weapon. Up to two troopers can each be armed with a long-las, two with a grenade launcher, two with a flamer, and two with a meltagun or plasma gun. The vox-operators can each be assembled with either binoculars or a grenade in their left hand, and up to two miniatures can be built carrying a medi-pack. There are also plenty of cosmetic accessories to further decorate your miniatures, including bayonets, pickaxes, belt pouches, grenades, and more.
This kit is supplied with 1x Death Korps of Krieg Transfer Sheet, containing 803 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your miniatures. There are markings for infantry, vehicles, and artillery, along with squad and regiment numbers, Krieg lettering, and minefield markers.
This kit comprises 486 plastic components, 2x Citadel 130mm Round Bases, 1x Citadel 40mm Round Base, 1x Citadel 32mm Round Base, and 31x Citadel 25mm Round Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
